Getting started

If the answer is no, you'll hear no

When a roof needs replacing, that's the answer you'll get. Roof Armor's business is rejuvenation and tune-ups, so there's nothing to gain by pushing a new roof.

Common questions

What product does Roof Armor use?

APEX-1132, a soy-based treatment made by SoyLei in Ames, Iowa. It has USDA BioPreferred certification for 96% biobased content. Read what is SoyLei APEX-1132 for the full story.

Does roof rejuvenation work on metal or tile roofs?

No. It's for asphalt shingle roofs only. Metal, tile, slate, flat and membrane roofs aren't candidates.

Who does the roof assessment?

The owner does every assessment himself. He looks at the shingles, granule loss, flexibility and flashing, and tells you plainly if treatment fits. Meet him on the about page.

What does Roof Armor do?

Roof Armor's business is roof rejuvenation and tune-ups for asphalt shingle roofs. That means treating aging shingles, securing loose ones, re-sealing flashings and fixing nail pops. See the roof tune-up page for what the tune-up covers.
