What we need from you
Here's the short list we'll go over when we book:
- A clear path to the roof and the sides of the house
- Gates unlocked, or a code if you have one
- Pets kept indoors during spraying, plus about half an hour after
- Cars parked away from the roof edges
- A phone number where we can reach you during the job
If you won't be home, tell us ahead of time so we can plan around it. You can reach us any time through the contact page.
Why some people like to be there
Being home has a few upsides. You can walk the yard with us before work starts and point out anything you've noticed, like a drip in the garage or a spot where shingles blew loose. You can see the tune-up items get fixed. And you can ask questions on the spot.

Before, during and after

The owner does the free roof assessment himself. It helps to be home for this one, so you hear what he finds.
- 02During
We tune up the roof and spray the treatment. Almost all of it happens up top, out of your way.
- 03After
The treatment cures in 1 to 2 hours on a mild day. After that, rain won't wash it out and life goes back to normal.
Keep kids and pets inside while we spray and for about 30 minutes after, until the roof is tack free. The product is made from soybean oil, but there's no reason to have anyone underfoot. More on pets and plants.
More questions
Do I need to leave the house during treatment?
No. The product has little or no odor and the work stays outside on the roof. Keep nearby windows closed while we spray, then go about your day inside.
Can you treat my roof while I'm at work?
We can talk about it when you book. As long as we have access to the roof and know about any pets, being at work may not be a problem. We'll go over the plan with you ahead of time.
