Roof Armor, Roof Rejuvenation Systems

Roof Armor Treatment Warranty

Each Roof Armor treatment comes with a 5-year transferable warranty. We give you the written terms before work starts, so you can read them first.

The short version

Each treatment comes with a 5-year transferable warranty, and we give you the written terms before work starts.

Read those terms before we start. If anything isn't clear, ask us. We'd rather you know what's in them now than get surprised later.

Why the warranty runs 5 years

A single treatment can buy an aging shingle roof up to about 5 more years. The warranty runs 5 years too.

When the 5 years are up, the roof can be treated again. Treatments can be repeated every 5 years for up to about 15 extra years total. Each treatment comes with its own 5-year transferable warranty. Every re-treatment starts with a fresh assessment, since the roof still has to be a good candidate. More on how long rejuvenation lasts.

If you sell the house

The warranty is transferable. Here's how to get ready before you list.

Let your listing agent know the roof was treated and when. Agents can find more on our realtors page.

  2. 02
    Ask us about the transfer

Ask us how the transfer works before you list the home.

  3. 03
    Read up on selling

What can void a roof warranty

The list below is general. The written terms we give you have the real one.

Roof warranties often exclude things like:

  • Physical damage from storms, hail, falling limbs or other impacts
  • Other trades cutting into the roof, like a new vent, skylight or solar install
  • Repairs made by someone else without telling us first
  • Problems that were there before treatment, like failed decking

Ask us to walk you through the exclusions before work starts. If something isn't clear, we'll explain it in plain words. You can also use our list of questions to ask before you hire anyone.

What a warranty can't do

Rejuvenation is preventive care for shingles that are still sound. It doesn't fix failed decking or missing shingles, and a warranty won't turn an end-of-life roof into a new one. That's why the owner checks every roof first.
