Roof Armor, Roof Rejuvenation Systems

Who We Help

Roof Armor works with anyone who owns or manages an asphalt shingle roof that's aging but still sound. Most of that is homeowners. It also includes realtors, landlords, HOAs, churches and small businesses.

Find your situation

What every one of these roofs has in common

The owner changes. The roof problem doesn't. Asphalt shingles dry out as heat and sun break down the oils in the asphalt. Here in the Piedmont, that means hot summers, strong UV and plenty of pine and oak shade working on a roof year after year.

Dry shingles get brittle, curl and shed granules. Caught early, rejuvenation can add up to about 5 years of life per treatment. Caught too late, the roof needs replacing, and we'll tell you that. See the signs your shingles are drying out.

Is your building a candidate?

Good fit when

  • The roof is asphalt shingle, architectural or 3-tab
  • Shingles look faded or are shedding granules
  • Shingles still lie flat and sealed
  • The decking feels solid underfoot
  • You want more years before a big replacement bill

Not a fit when

  • The roof is metal, tile or slate
  • It's a flat or membrane roof
  • Large areas of shingles are missing
  • The decking is soft or rotted
  • The roof is leaking because it has failed

Same process for everyone

Every job starts the same way. The owner does a free assessment himself. If the roof qualifies, it gets a roof tune-up before any treatment goes on.

The treatment is done in hours, not days. For a typical house, that's one afternoon. Bigger buildings take longer, and we'll give you a plan for those. Read how roof rejuvenation works for the full rundown.

Common questions

Does Roof Armor work on commercial buildings?

Yes, if the roof is asphalt shingle. Many churches, offices and small shops have shingle roofs that age the same way a house does. Flat and membrane roofs aren't candidates. See churches and small commercial.

Is roof rejuvenation only for old roofs?

It works best on roofs that are aging but still sound. A roof at the end of its life is better off replaced. The sweet spot is a roof that's starting to fade and shed granules but still lies flat. Read is my roof a candidate.

What kinds of roofs can Roof Armor treat?

Asphalt shingle roofs only, both architectural and 3-tab. The treatment isn't made for metal, tile, slate, flat or membrane roofs. Not sure what's on yours? We can tell you at the assessment. Learn about architectural shingles and 3-tab shingles.
